Parklawn and its surrounding communities are a beautiful, peaceful secret inside the beltway! The tower is so large that it cannot be hidden and will be "in your face" according to AT&T's own arborist, Ed Milhouse of Trees Please.AT&T wants to place a cell tower smack dab in one of our most beautiful resources - the Parklawn Recreation Association land! The proposed tower location is right next to our homes, within a 1/2 mile of homes in Dowden Terrace and the Lincolnia Hills/Heywood Glen communities, Parklawn and Dowden Terrace pools, and only 1/3 of a mile from Glasgow Middle School, where many of our children go to school! This area is where many of our children play, participate on swim teams and where many of us take our dogs to play and walk along the Fairfax County bike path.

Parklawn Civic Association's Cell Tower Survey The survey results show that 69% of Parklawn subdivision residents OPPOSE the tower. Of all the communities included in the Parklawn Civic Association, 61.2% OPPOSE the tower. DON'T LET THE TOWER INTO PARKLAWN!!!
